This is a budget bridge camera, the sort of camera for someone who want's a decent point-and-shoot or a amateur photographer.
As you can see the camera resembles a DSLR whilst still having a similar size to a compact or point and shoot. The lense is not removable but it has many settings for different scenes and an auto scene mode that detects the scene and puts it on the correct scene setting.
Unfortunately the image stabilization is reported to be a bit dodgy and the images inconsistent, but if you are looking to get into the world of photography this is a great buy!
